  1. Use the websites listed to gather information about the document assigned. be sure to take detailed notes, focusing on:
    bulletHistorical context (what happened/what was happening to drive the creation of the document)
    bulletKey people involved in the creation of the document
    bulletOther outside influences (other documents, key principles behind the document)
    bulletChanges caused by the implementation of the document
    bulletLegal implications, past and present (Court opinions)
    bulletChanges made to the document over time
     
  2. Create a slideshow about this document. It must contain the following:
    bulletHistorical Background and Context
    bulletKey people and their role in the history and development of the document
    bulletHighlights of the document (key phrases and what they mean, etc)
    bulletImpact/changes made by this document
    bulletHow does/did this document help define/create/continue democracy?
    bulletAppropriate images/illustrations
    bulletBibliography
     
  3. Present your slide show in class. Be sure that:

    bulletYour slides are easy to read/view
    bulletYou speak clearly
    bulletYou face the audience and make eye contact
    bulletYou pronounce all words and names correctly
