Each team member will be graded separately based on their part of the presentation, using the rubric below.


The team will receive a group grade, as well, which will be an average of the individual member’s grades

Teamwork Component

Student makes no effort to participate in group activities or works actively to distract disrupt group

Student Participates minimally, offering only bits of information, help or support. Tends to argue over minor details at times, or tries to overtly dominate discussion.

Student contributes to group discussions, but tends to let others run the show, or makes minor effort to keep group on task.

Student is an active member of group, contributes to all phases od discussion. Student works to keep group on task in a polite and respectful manner.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Content Knowledge

Student does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about subject

Offers no valid support for choice.

Information presented is inaccurate or incomplete

Student is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions.

Offers only basic support for choice.

 

 

Student is at ease with content, but fails to elaborate. Offers some support for choices but lacks full evidence to support choice

Student demonstrates full knowledge of choice with explanations and elaboration.

 

 

Mechanics

Student's presentation had four or more spelling errors and/or grammatical errors.

 

Presentation had three misspellings and/or grammatical errors.

 

Presentation has no more than two misspellings and/or grammatical errors

Student's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly.

Student makes moderate eye contact, with only a little body movement

Student used a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms.

Student has strong presence, stands erect and makes solid eye contact with audience
