Your grade will be based on two things:
  1. in-class quiz
  2. Poster

Your poster will be graded using the following rubric:

Neatness and Layout
The poster is neatly laid out, with no visible smears, stray lines or eraser marks.
It is visually balanced an colors used compliment each other.
All written content is easy to read.
Poster looks perfect from a distance and at close range.
The poster fairly neat and organized, with only minor alignment/balance problems. A few smears or stray marks may be visible, but they do not distract from the overall product.
Written content is fairly easy to read, with only minor problems barely evident when viewed up close
The poster contains several problems with object alignment. Smears, stray lines, eraser marks, and/or glue stains are obvious and distract from the poster's content. Written content is a bit illegible due poor color selection or poor use of size or handwriting. The poster is hastily put together, with objects applied in a disorderly fashion. No attempt at alignment or balance. Glue stains, smears, stray lines and/or eraser marks makes it almost impossible to see content.

Sloppiness is very evident from a distance.

Content

All parts of the poster are appropriate, related and relevant to the topic.
All information presented accurately

 

There is only one instance of irrelevance or inappropriateness.  OR
Only one Minor error in accuracy in the information, but presents no conflict or distraction.
There are 2-3 errors in the appropriateness, relevance and/or accuracy information. Conflicting information creates a distraction or conflict There are numerous instances of inappropriate content, or content unrelated to the topic.
